On a dyno, you are accelerating as fast as you can either way, so I honestly don't see how 4th gear will "load" the engine more. As much as it can do is as much as it can do. You can barely get 15psi in first gear because you slip the tires and thus unload the engine. This won't happen on a dyno in 3rd. Brake boosting is for when your motor is not loaded...you artificially load it. That doesn't really apply here. So maybe you don't have much to say about spooling either. No offense Chip, I respect your drag racing skills greatly, but you aren't making sense to me.
